Christopher M. Kelty, author of The Participant, will be visiting the Leibniz Science Campus on Tuesday 3 May from 10am-1pm. We are very much looking forward to this participatory event.
In line with the core theme of the ScienceCampus, the event will focus particularly on (post-digital) participation and its conditions for success.
'Participation should be "diarchic": those who participate should both give something and get something from the experience, making both responsible for its success. But conversely it is not a permanent relation, not a structure or institution that requires procedure from which people can demand equity or justice or recognition. How to navigate this in-between space of power?'.
