New developments: Maritime digitalisation and participative mediation formats at the German Maritime Museum

On Saturday 10 February, Dr Isabella Hodgson, the digital curator at the German Maritime Museum, gave a lecture entitled "Maritime digital: New apps and participatory educational formats on the topic of 'man and the sea'". She spoke about the museum's experience in developing educational formats and emphasised the direct exchange with future users as well as with regional and national institutions. In addition to participatory design processes, she also discussed fundamental questions about digital offerings in the museum sector and their social benefits.
