The Basement

"The Basement" is an innovative space that is architecturally and medially set up for many different scenarios and usage situations. It is open to all those who want to experience, explore, and reflectively shape digital education for themselves and with one another. The focus lies on the question of how digital media changes schools and educational processes, for example regarding participation possibilities, role understandings and data flows. Scientists, students, teachers, parents, principals, and educational software developers can exchange ideas, learn from each other, and reflect on solutions for open (digital) learning processes in various formats.

"The Basement" is a central location that can also be used by the members of the Leibniz Science Campus - Postdigital Participation - Braunschweig in a participatory way for testing and implementing Social Living Lab approaches.
