Karoline Steinbock has been working as a research assistant at the Institute of Media Management at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Salzgitter since August 2023. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Media Communication at the Ostfalia in May 2020 and successfully completed her Master's degree in Communication Management there in April 2023. As part of her Bachelor's degree, she also spent a semester abroad at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the Netherlands in 2018.

During her studies, she worked as a student and research assistant at the Institute for Public Communication. There she supported research projects of the chair and worked as an editor for the journalistic university portal campus38.de. Karoline Steinbock also gained practical experience in the media industry, including journalism, content marketing and PR.
