"Cultural participation in museums" represented with a panel discussion at PartWiss 2023

From 22 to 24 November 2023, PartWiss23 - the second conference on networking and strengthening participation in science - took place at Chemnitz University of Technology. The team from the sub-project of the Leibniz ScienceCampus – Postdigital Participation – Braunschweig "Cultural Participation in Museums - Potentials of Digitalisation" was represented at the conference on Thursday 23.11.23 with a panel discussion entitled "Framework conditions and power relations for successful participatory and transdisciplinary technology development". Linda Münch from Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences from the perspective of a research assistant, Rosemarie Brikmanis-Brückner from the perspective of a pedagogical employee at Lebenshilfe Bremerhaven, Dr Isabella Hodgson from the German Maritime Museum Bremerhaven from the perspective of the museum's (digital) curator and Lena Link from the perspective of a workshop employee at Lebenshilfe Bremerhaven and potential user of the app discussed their experiences with a participatory research and development approach in a transdisciplinary research project. Prof Dr Sandra Verena Müller moderated the intensive 90-minute panel discussion with the involvement of the audience.
