Review of Campus Day 2025
On 11 November 2025, Campus Day 2025 of the Leibniz Science Campus Postdigital Participation took place at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel. The event was aimed at doctoral students and project managers of the Science Campus and provided a space for exchange, mutual orientation and joint exploration of future research perspectives. The aim of the day was to gain insights into ongoing work, highlight interdisciplinary connections and provide impetus for future projects.
After the participants arrived, Prof. Dr Eckhardt Fuchs (spokesperson) and Prof. Dr Ina Schiering (deputy spokesperson) opened the day. In the ensuing exchange, the central activities of the Science Campus until the end of the second funding period (09/2027) were presented and discussed together.
In the late morning, there was a tour of the prepared project stands, which provided space for individual discussions and in-depth insights. After a joint lunch break, the afternoon block began with project presentations, followed by a poetry slam by the ‘Cultural Diversity Team’. This invited participants to engage creatively with topics of post-digital culture and participation. Further project presentations followed, providing an overview of the range of research conducted on campus. The concluding outlook provided another opportunity to bring together the key insights of the day and identify the next steps for the work on campus. The participants thus ended Campus Day 2025 with a wealth of new impressions and perspectives for further cooperation.
