
Scale Development on Cultural Participation at Ostfalia UAS Salzgitter Campus
As part of the Leibniz ScienceCampus Postdigital Participation, the KomMa team (Communication and Media Management) at Ostfalia UAS – Salzgitter Campus consolidated, reduced, and recombined over 200 empirically tested items. A successful factor analysis followed a pretest.
The project draws on the concept of merit goods and explores why cultural offerings are socially valued but rarely used in ways that sustain them in market terms. Initial results were presented at WMEMC 2025 in Warsaw.
