Dima Meiqari

PhD student at "P4URB"

Dima Meiqari worked on partial aspects of the project P4URB within the framework of the Leibniz ScienceCampus Postdigital Participation in the course of her employment at the ISU - Institute for Sustainable Urbanism at TU Braunschweig from 2021 to 2022. Dima received a Master's degree in Media Architecture from Bauhaus University Weimar in 2018 as a DAAD scholarship holder and holds a Diploma in Architecture from Damascus University completed in 2010. Her work focuses on the cultural, social, political and economic impacts of information and communication technologies on urban and architectural space in practice and research. During her master's studies in Weimar, she conducted media anthropological research on Circassian architecture and urban heritage. Dima participated in organizing conferences and workshops on post-war cities in the context of Syria and is a co-founder of the Syrian Lab for virtual urban planning, SYLAVUP.
