This year’s Georg Arnhold International Summer Conference from the second till the fifth of June will focus on “The Quest for Peace and Equality under the Postdigital Condition: New Media Formations and Practices in Education”. Organised in collaboration with the Leibniz ScienceCampus – Postdigital Participation – Braunschweig, the Georg Arnhold Programme invites participants to critically explore the complex intersections between digital media, education, and peace.

Key questions include how emerging media influence peace education, how digital technologies may reinforce or reduce existing inequalities, and what role they play in educational responses to the climate crisis, migration, conflict, and global justice.

The conference will take place in summer 2025 at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute, and will bring together early-career researchers, experienced scholars, and practitioners from around the world.

We are looking forward to abstracts offering diverse perspectives on the conference theme!
