Postdigital Participation in Education. How Contemporary Media Constellations Shape Participation.  Click here for the publication.

The publication is dedicated to exploring the multi-layered concept of "postdigital" and its interweaving with digital and analogue spheres as well as material and symbolic aspects. It introduces the concept of media constellations, which represent the core relationships in a post-digital society in which digitality characterises everyday interactions. It is emphasised that "post" does not mean overcoming, but rather integrating digitality into complex relationships and contexts. Particular attention is paid to the close link between participation in the "post-digital condition", power structures and political economies, especially in the context of education.
